BREATH, MOVEMENT, HUMOR, COMPASSION
I began my yoga journey in 2012 with Ashtanga class. Despite being someone who was not "into fitness" I floated out the door trying to soak up every physical and emotional feeling I experienced on that mat; I was totally hooked.
My yoga practice is what keeps me grounded and strong through the good and challenging things life throws at me. Yoga is where I can find calm, where my mind stops racing, and where my anxiet and stress melt away with each breath. Yoga is where you remind yourself there is no cure to the human condition, just breath, movement, humor and compassion. I am an educator by trade and find such joy in sharing knowledge and experiences with others. I felt called to bring my two passions together, and I begin my 200HR Yoga teacher training in January 2018. I am so humbled that I get to support students as they find strength, balance and peace in their life through this practice of yoga. I am an 8th grade science teacher at Hopewell Junior school, the wife to a law student and an avid Walt Disney World traveler, aspiring baker and dog mom to two old rescue pups.
